Virus b bank issue...

I have cleared all the banks in my Virus B: a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h

In my Sounddiver all the banks show '-init-'

When I try to import new banks to c,d,e,f,g,h... it does not allow me...it keeps importing into banks A & B

How can I get banks loaded into c,d,e,f,g,h in sounddiver?

Thank you for any help

You can only access A & B directly!
Then you need to have a look in the menu so you can switch a/b to c/d/e/f/g/h

Yeah. The fucking manual like Storyteller says.

The only banks you can save and delete patches from are banks A & B. The rest are stored in Read only memory so you cannot save changes to those patches and you cannot delete any of them.

I have looked in the Virus B menus, the only options it gives are to "Force to Bank A, and Force to Bank B"

What you need to do is build your banks in A and B then Store to flash those finished banks into c,d,e,f,g,h.

as the others have mentioned, you wont be able to do anything except call up those patches in the future, no more changes and edits.

its in the CTRL menu.. right at the very end.

Never written an entire track with only one synth?

Never owned a Virus B, but in the C, assuming you had the right OS, I think 6 or 6.5, you can overwrite the ROM banks in a bulk transfer. But they are still ROM banks, so you cannot save on the fly.

It should be in the manual... Only got the C manual here.

Its stupid and a waste of space..

i got 254 presets to play with.. which is alot.. but having 254 more would definitely be more appropriate.. or atleast be able to write the vengeance soundsets on the ROM spot atleast.

Also what is bothering me is not being able to start a patch from scrath straight from the virus, how hard could it be to make that function ?

I emailed Access about it and the only thing he could suggest to me was something that would clear ALL patches.

This is just those small things that i find irritating.
