JOEY BELTRAM | NYC | STX | Tresor
Joey Beltram began DJing in 1983 playing electro and hip hop. Today he is widely acknowledged as a leading innovator in the early development of underground dance music. His worlwide breakthrough came with the release of the techno classic "Energy Flash" which wrote a new chapter in the musical history books and swept dancefloors worldwide ushering in a new era of dance music. The Queens born and bred DJ and producer had paved the way for 90s electronica musical revolution which was championed by the likes of artists like the Chemical Brothers and The Orb. Since those early days Joey Beltram has released a steady flow of dancefloor smashers on labels such as Tresor, Trax, Sony, V2 and his own imprint STX. He has also toured the world over playing in over 30 different countries. This will be Joey's first Toronto appearence in well over 5 years and we're excited as fuck to be presenting it!
