If you think DJ Dan is a fuckin joke... what about John 00 Fleming not even making it on the Top 100!!!!!!!!!

Now, he isn't my #1 fave DJ but I did put him in my top 5 vote... IIRC he was placed 22nd last year... and now... Non existent on the list... Goes to show how COMPLETELY BULLSHIT the dj mag top 100 has become...

i think TA poll was bit more accurate of the connaisseurs of the scene
dj mag is a representation of the mainstream club scene, we all know that. it's targeted at people like barstars and clubber kids, not so much as people like TAs or members of trance.nu, we know bit more about what's going on

yeah, loss of j00f from top 100 was a blow, same as placing dj dan before ferry

any system where you can vote 100 times a day for anyone you want, real or not, is fcked. And stop putting TA on a pedestal for comparison apri. TA (and trance.nu) are not the bible of trance.

Take it with a grain of salt because of the way the vote is conducted and that only those who voted (some many times, some once) get a say in shaping the rank. Also take it with a grain of salt because there's a 1 in billion chance that poll is an exact match of YOUR poll.

no, it wasn't representative of all of electronic music
but it still was a fairly good mirror of how the trance scene was doing
