they turn the heat on more overnight

its not rly that cold in england.

though the thermostat is at 25-30 degrees C and the ambient temp around the house is about 16-18 degrees so thats not awful.

jeez, i only set mine to about 65f in the coldest days! it's like in summer, you can count on one hand the number of homes with air-con, we just sweat & moan, like real...... clowns ?
