REVIEW: Guvernment New Years Eve
i really dont know what else to say other than "wow!".
tonight was my first time at a club for new years eve (ive been going to banquet halls) and the guvernment has exceeded my expectations. i arrived around 11pm and the lineup outside was pretty big. everything went smoothly at the door (thanks jamil and johnny). main room coat check was really busy so we went to the koolhaus coat check where it seemed to have a smaller line. seems like they spent much of sunday decorating the venue because none of the decorations were up on saturday night.
the main room and the drink were filling up nicely. the orange room was pretty busy even though it seemed to just act as a passage way for most of the patrons that were commuting from the main room to the koolhaus.
music was second to none. every dj was giving it their all and every room was bangin. mark oliver, manzone&strong, nathan barato, greg gow, joee cons, vinyl junkies, sydney blu and aristotle did a fantastic job keeping everyone in the groove.
i left slightly after 4am because one of my friends was sober but thats okay. i had a blast and it was a perfect way to bring in the new year.
happy new year!!!
ps. pics will be up soon.
