Need help with MIDI controller (Edirol PCR-M30)

I have an Edirol PCR-M30 MIDI controller, which I love and works great. However, there are 8 rotary controllers, and the 7th one appears to control the 6th one as well. For example, I have these rotaries assigned in Traktor like:

R1: Deck A, Low EQ
R2: Deck A, MidLow EQ
R3: Deck A, MidHigh EQ
R4: Deck A, High EQ

R5: Deck B, Low EQ
R6: Deck B, MidLow EQ
R7: Deck B, MidHigh EQ
R8: Deck B, High EQ

However, whenever I move R7, BOTH my MidLow and MidHigh EQs change. I haven't been able to figure this one out! It's not the settings within Traktor, so there must be something with the controller itself. I couldn't find out how to fix this in the manual. I even tried a factory reset, but the same thing happens.

Anybody have any ideas? This is my first MIDI controller and I'm still new to it, so I might be overlooking something easy.

By the way, I bought this second-hand off of eBay. It appeared to be new, but it could've just been in really good condition. There's a possibility that there are some settings in memory that are left over from someone else...

im not familar with traktor but have you tried assigning MidLow and MidHigh to different keys on your keyboard? see if you press one key and it moves both. that way we know for sure its your midiboard

if that proves its your midiboard, i'll pull up edirol's manual and see why they are linked.

Traktor may have both midi controls set for the same function. It happened to me once for the keyboard.

Its your keyboard sending out the same midi messages on two different controllers. I had the same problem. When i turned one knob, it moved the other one. Also one of my sliders didnt function. You need to change the midi messages for each knob to be different from each other. its in the manual, though its not explained well. I cant remember how i did it, but i did and it sorted the problem

I think G-Con is correct, it sounds like the previous owner messed around in edit mode and changed the CC assignments for those knobs. I have a PCR-50 so I know these keyboards let you do that.

I don't think the PCR-Mxx manuals are the same, but in my manual it's the "Control Change Assign" subsection, which is under "Edit Mode" in the Operation section. That will tell you how to remap the CCs.
