ain't got much skill with a camera, but here are a couple of ones that came out ok...think you'll have to wait for brian's pics to really see some crazy shots

anyway, as for the night overall, I had a great time..Porter's opening set was good imo, built it up quite nicely..everything ran a bit late so Paul didn't get on til 12:30 or so but it was def worth the wait..his set last night was def better than his two days @ CP last summer IMO, and maybe better than his first Roseland appearance in March (didn't go in Nov.)...he really banged it out without lettin up at all..pretty relentless all night..only tracks that I recall when he toned it down was Way Out West - Mindcircus (G&D Mix) somewhere durin the middle of his set and Smith & Pledger - Amsterdam, which was towards the end...sorta passed out sittin upstairs durin that one lol..i don't even recall him dropping his usual trifecta of Nothing But You, Time of Our Lives and For an Angel..though i was pretty drunk so I may be wrong ..ended the night sorta mellow and finished right before 7am, but besides the last hour or so he really didn't give the crowd a break...sorta reminiscent of his older sets from 2002-2003 ive downloaded, at least in terms of energy..super packed house obviously, thinned out a little bit towards the end but still a decent crowd left at close. good seein a lotta familiar faces, all in all had a great time, and he gave Crobar a proper sendoff lol.
oh, as for renovations...reed room doesn't have any "reeds" obstructing ppl's path anymore, just more tables for what looked like bottle service.. you could also see straight into one of the bathrooms above the bar..maybe someone else can explain better but it was really strange.
