hi guys

i was just wondering if theres any way in ableton to route 1 channel to the front output on a 5.1 card, and another channel to the rear output? i can only seem to get a mono split which means i have to rewire everything when i want to do a set in ableton

i know it can be done in traktor - surely it can in ableton?

yes, you can do it but first you have to enable the other channels in the preferences...it's somewhere there...

If you are trying to do what I think you are doing it's not possible. you probably only have one audio out, even if the sound is 5.1.

you need a card with at least 2x audio out if you needed to cue, whichi think thats what you mean...

it works with traktor so it is possible with ableton

managed to get some ASIO drivers or something which now gives me 3 line outs from ableton wooo

yup ASIO4ALL works like a charm
