Spoonz,
I'm glad you brought that up. There seems to be a lot of demand these days to get CD versions of the same tracks that might be released on a given vinyl. I am going to be working with many of the major vinyl distributors in Europe and North America to make CD singles more available for dance music releases. What I would personally like to see is each single actually come with two CD's with the same tracks in case you want to, for example, mix two different remixes of the same track into a set at the same time. (I know you could always duplicate the CD yourself, but different regions have different legality issues with that. Besides, profesionally pressed CD's are less prone to wear.) While you can do some pretty cool stuff with that technique, it is really expensive to buy two vinyls to do this. Since CD's are so cheap to duplicate, it really would not cost much more to give you two copies with your purchase. Even if the distributors won't agree to that, I'd still like to see more releases available as CD's -- that's definitely the bigger issue here.
There's a link to the retail site I work for in my sig below. I'll admit that we don't have much out there for CD's right now, but we just launched and currently specialize in vinyls. We will be doing a lot of work to really build up our inventory over the next few months.
