do you care what happens to your body after you die?
kind of morbid question but just the other day i was thinking about the VA tech shooting and whether one could deter a suicidal or border-suicidal nut?
if someone's suidical, i suppose they really wouldn't care what happens to their body, but if someon's borderline suicidal would they care what happens to their body. maybe it could be fed to pigs or something? if there is a consensus that people care about happens to their body after they die, then it could be deterent for some.
so what's the conseus? do you care what happens to your body? in my case, i really don't care because i belive my body is a shell. how about you?

Many people who are suicidal have large egos, I imagine someone with a large ego would care.
For me, I want my entire body shot into space. Not just a couple grams of ashes. My whole body, exposed completely to the vacuum of space. By the time I die, it'll be cheap and easy to do it anyway. Future FTW!

Couldn't care less what they do with it. I'm not exactly around to worry about it.
I'd donate most of it to science, except the middle finger on my right hand. Just to say my piece And that way, people like Yan's mum can cut little bits off me and hide them in other med student's bags
But I would like my middle finger (right hand) to be buried, and have a strangler fig tree planted on top. I would 'become' the tree and finally get to kill without any kind of repercussions.

I'm not too bothered what would happen to my body after I die. I wouldn't mind having my organs removed knowing it could save a person's or several people's lives. Other than that, I'd be cool with being cremated.
I care about how my body is and used now rather than when I'm deceased.
And that way, people like Yan's mum can cut little bits off me and hide them in other med student's bags
