for gods sake someone help me !!
i got dragged along to see lionel richie the other nite in sheefield (actually he was quite good !) bit close to the end in on of his own sonfs he put a trance break in !! bizarre. and i cant recall what the song is, its a classic but i have a mental block. hard to describe really but it starts with a a synth (no other backing) the only way i can describe is:

dee dee (down a note)da da
dee dee (down a note)da da
(lower pitch)
dee dee (down a note)da da
dee dee (down a note)da da
(higher pitch)
da da (lower note) da da
repeated etc

like i say, its a classic but i cant place it. poss late 90's. i might be wrong but the video had either a spaceman or spaceship in it !!!! how mad am i ???????????
