Awesome Summer Project: Build your own helicopter!!!
I remember seeing ads on how to build your own helicopter in Popular Mechanics when I was a kid - so thinking about a cool summer project that could turn into real fun I figured why not check into it again!
It turns out one can build their own chopper for around $5k! These lightweight marvels can be constructed with everyday parts available at hardware stores and with tools found in most garages!
Imagine being to fly around town in your own home-build helicopter?!? NOW THAT IS AN AWESOME SUMMER PROJECT!

I remember looking at some of these kit projects a year or two back. You can most definitely get a very legitimate flying machine for a ridiculously low price. I wonder what the laws of our land say about it, whether you need a license, or whether or not some of these are so lightweight that you bypass that requirement.
Are you planing on building one RJ?
