How can i mess around with my dj tag on the song so it sounds sick?

Like you know when your listening to a song and randomly you hear "DJ BLAHBLAH" in like a cool robot voice.

I know you can do it through FruityLoops with speech synth but I want to edit a self recorded one.

What software is the best for this?

I personally think it sounds cheesy no matter what way you do it.

A common way of doing robot voices is to use a vocoder, there are several free ones out there and of course some well known such as NI's, Orange's, AKAI's etc. Play around with the settings and wave forms until you find a sound you like.

Combining it with other effects suchs as distortion, phase distortion and "Camel Space" can also add a nice touch to it.
