I am torn. I can get them for almost identical prices, but I am not really sure which is the better mixer.
Which would be better for a bedroom setup with occasional usage elsewhere?
Which would have a higher resale value if sold used in mint condition?

theyre both great mixers. The NUO3 has a better layout, as the gains on the XONE are on the back, which is kinda weird. You also have chunky EQ knobs, full kills and adjustable curve faders and x-fader on the NUO.
The XONE does have those filter tho...if thats important to you.

I'd go for the Xone myself. They are both really good 3 channel mixers, but the 32's filters and Allen & Heath sound quality tip the scales for me.

I think I am going with Xone:32.
Because I was getting the Nuo3 shipped from the States (for a really good price) but I just feel better buying the Xone locally (the nuo3 is too expensive)

The mackie D2 the 2 channel rane mixers and the older vestax rotaries (the ones made in japan) are also great mixers in that price range.

You dont have to worry about that. The ECLER distributor for North America is based in Montreal (thats me!) so any repairs or warranty work is handled here

Sweet, because fate conspired to have me order an Ecler

As much as I love ecler, I own a nuo2 myself...
in this case though I would go with the xone, as someone posted earlier...those filters are just nothing less than amazing!
Here in LA, the xone 32 is comparable in price (retail) to the nuo4, which in that case I would go with the nuo4.

get a Xone:32, they look way better. when you bring girls over, they won't be impressed by a nuo3 and wont touch your weewee. the xone:32 pays for itself.
