Guess this is a little off topic but figured it was most relevant and useful to the Music Producers Promotion forum. Move if necessary.

I was experimenting with flash players earlier today for a website i'm building and thought I'd see if i could work out how to embed a flash player into trance addict posts. Figured it would be really useful for tracks to have a player (which displays the track position, unlike my default one- the quicktime one) and also which allows people to listen to the track on the same page as they read the comments.

I used a free (for non-commercial use) player I found *HERE*.

So, if you want to embed a player (like the one in *THIS THREAD* you need to copy and paste the code provided in the file *HERE* (just go to view source and copy that - i can't type the code in the post 'cause it'll just make a player and not show the code ). Feel free to use the swf player hosted in my webspace (its free space from my uni anyway ) though note that i graduate in a year so it'll be gone after that. Also note that the urls of the mp3 file and the cover jpg file appear TWICE (once for internet explorer, once for everything else) so make sure you change both.

EDIT: Note you need files that can be linked to directly, ie no megaupload, etc. I saw a site that offers this for free, haven't tried it personally but seen it used a couple of times on TA. * File Den *
