wow - that's the latest date by far they've ever had the WMC i think...i bet it will start around that tuesday/wednesday.

prob best days to go would be arrive on Wed and leave Sunday...time to look for rooms!

Hope I can make to my first WMC ever! Was hoping it would be a week earlier, but if I come back on Sunday 3/30 and work the following weekend then I should be able to do it!

I know there's another thread already started about good hotels to stay at in Miami, anyone know the link before I start searching like mad?

2008 could be my first year going to WMC/ultra music festival. any tips on where i can get start at. plannings? tickets? hotels? are there going to be more parties going on that week besides the WMC & ULTRA?

Just to clarify, WMC is not a party...its a whole week of electronic music related events. Ultra is the closing party this year, so that means that the Winter Music Conference will probably start Monday or Tuesday. During the whole week there will be a shitload of events going on. From previous experience, there are sometimes so many that you cant keep up or make it to all of them. One of the good things about the WMC week is that you can head out to the beach during the day, then start walking down a street and probably find some badass event going on that you didnt know about! If you havent been, I suggest you go...but to reiterate the age issue, its almost pointless to go if you arent 21 (excluding Ultra and possibly a few larger events)

had an amazing WMC this year, hope to make it better next year!
i didn't even end up going to ultra this year, ended up selling the tix out front, the night parties are where its at anyway.
nothing like those long 5 1/2 hour pvd sets

Definitely lookin forward to this one!!!
