Younger Brother "Flock of Beeps"

just got this album. it was passed on to me by another student in my Business and Professional Speaking class. He asked me if I liked electronic music and I was like you know. so he handed me a cd and said younger brother = Hallucinogen & Prometheus. I was like cool man I will definitely give it a listen then, I'm all about psy. When I popped it in I was a little bit thrown off by the guitar and all in all ambieant appeal that it had. But then, toward the middle of the album it changed into something really different and it made me appreciate the first half of the cd even more. i like the way they decided to layout the tracks in their album. It sort of made it seem as if it suddenly got faster and more intense. not too mention I like their two very different sounds that they project.

Short version
check this cd out if you like ambient and psy you will love it.

You should check out their new album. Celtic Cross, Shpongle, Mystery Of The Yeti, The Infinity Project, Ott, Dub Trees, basically alot of TIP. world and Twisted records. They've done alot of great ambient stuff, that appeals to some more people than the usual ambient/downtempo stuff.

Mmm all great names... Goa Ambient (or world in the case of shpongle) is very nice.

Check out Younger Brother's new "The Last Days Of Gravity", great album with some nice progressive rock undertones.

some of the greatest albums ever made are in this simple list

I know it has been said many many times, but this guy is THE reference when you talk about electronic music.. not a single DJ (read: sasha, armin, PVD, tiesto, Ferry corsten) can do even 1/4 of what he does with some gears..

yeah, i bought that album on vinyl at amoeba records in LA after hearing LSD for the first time. So many great tracks on that album besides LSD. definitely a keeper!
