any racing heads in here?
Guys I need to find gas stations around new york that sell 100 octane gas... I knew about one place few years back but they don't sell it anymore... I really need to know, so if you have friends who are into racing and tweak their cars or if you one yourself and know the answer to my question it would be much appreciated if you gave me the info
or maybe you know about a local forum on the web... I'm posting here because I know a lot of local folks are lurking these forums...

gas is too expensive as it is. Pick up a cheaper hobby. This is coming from an ex-car guru. 99% of the people I find looking for 93+ octane don't know what octane does/is and don't need it anyway.

Well I do and I need it hehe... believe me if I didn't need it I wouldn't be looking for it... I'm installing a piggyback (actually it's an upgrade to what I already have)in my car that will increase the boost of the turbos but to have it working smoothly I need higher octane gas to mix it up with 93 to give me something around 96 octane.. I'm just testing out a product for someone, will have it for few days, make a few runs on a track this weekend and give him my feedback.
Thanks for your concerns but I like my hobbies and as you may know most fun hobbies are a bit pricey.

And if you are reeaaallly serious - you know you can buy it by the drum right? And I think they even may store the drum for you if you have no space I think ... At this point you might realize that you probably have a problem

I would bet that Freehold location is good, since it's close to Englishtown (drag racetrack). Where are you located?
worst case just ride out to etown im sure you'll find 100oct, it shouldn't be too hard to come by as long as you got the cheddar.
btw what mods are you testing? new turbo? what boost you running and fuel mgmt system? im guessing ur dynoing then track testing?

Yeah, I have an 02 Yamaha R1 (The Beast) and a 05 Ninja 250 (70mpg and twistie queen!) The Yamaha is a goner next spring, picking up a Honda CBR (1000?) maybe.
I'm down for a ride anytime (anytime it's above 50 degrees that is)
O yeah - 335i TT = sweet car without any mods (but I know once u have the bug you can never leave it stock )
