I know I'm being a typical significant other writing in about this...but no Basic Perspective on the DJ poll?? Arthur Schmidt and Gabe Lukosz? With Under the Influence, Chroma, Small Step, Avenger, Mind the Gap......those are successful productions, they didn't make it?? They were on 9 major CD compilations this past year.
Oh well, there's always next poll.....alot of new faces on the poll and some surprising placings. Congrats to those who are on!

next year I guess, but I agree Chroma was an awesome production.

First, it's a DJ POLL...not Best Producer poll...
Second, isn't one of them in prison for awhile? I could be completely wrong. Just remember hearing that from someone who knows them...someone shoot this down if it's not true as I don't want anything nasty to spread.

OK, well that's a good thing then. I just heard it from someone who knows them (no, no one directly associated directly with any promoter) and earlier this year he was trying to get someone he knew who throws parties (not in SF) to book them and he said it was all put on hold because one of them was about to go to prison for like six months because he was busted over something, or something like that....just def remember something about it all being screwed up because someone having to do some time....but if you say it's not true, I'll take your word for it!
Will confront him next time I see the d00d I know....

Well I'm late into the DJ poll anyway.....I didn't check it all until now so I was like, "what....they didn't get a vote?" anywhooooo.......that rumor about jail time, more like court issues (that we all deal with from time to time) and judge threatening jail if stuff didn't get handled. I know I've seen the judge in my time, he's not so nice if you don't do as you're told and take care of it in a timely manner. Needless to say Anthony is right, no jail for the boys.
