I have a feeling they may do it. The same thing happened with the free AOL Active Virus Shield. They stopped offering Kaspersky which was really awesome and started offering McAfee

firefox + ******** = no need for anti-spyware apps eating memory

Thanks I have couple viruses on my laptop that just dont go away have tried numerous softwares

That's what I thought...I run Firefox exclusively and haven't scanned for spyware in a year...but Spysweeper found like 20 farking things on my computer. Apparently hackers are finding ways to exploit Firefox too.

You shouldn't run Spysweeper constantly. It takes up lots of resources. Just use the scanner once a week (after updating), and turn the service off.

Well actually it helped usually I always had a window opening saying that your privacy is in danger and stuff download the this software like a pop up type msg and stuff.I tried Webroot Spysweeper and my laptop is crystal clear now wooohooo.
