I have never had a shitty time at zone. Everybody has their own purpose of going. Some are for the right and some are for the wrong reasons, but most ppl do have fun. The only thing that sucks about the place is that there are ppl who HAVE to be there .
It's not about where you hang out. You're gonna find an idiot in every corner. Zone has a different atmosphere and a high of it's own. As you probably know already, zone is divided into sections that have names and you should fit into one of those. We all do lol.
My favourite spot is in China Town because there is light there and usually a little more room than the dance floor.
There are certain areas that I stay away from as well. Those include the back area where the "gangsters are" and by the stripper pole.
I have to admit tho...I did feel a little unsafe at at zone once, but some things happened that most ppl are not aware of, and knowing the actual issue, I was a little worried, but then Carlo dropped Trust No.1 and I was back in my game haha
To sum it all up, it all depends on what kind of attitude you come in with. It's pretty much your decision on how your day/night gonna go. It also depends if you are one of those ppl that have to use drugs or just there to listen to the most unbelievable dirt in Toronto and work out for however many hours
p.s. I usually go by myself, and I'm usually never scared! The only thing that always worries me is if my car will still be there when I come out! lol

Re: Comfort Zone - I don't get it

Alright, so I'm hoping someone can help me out with this.
I've been to CZ three or four times now, and I can't honestly say I've ever had a good time there. But at the same time, I see loads of people, here and elsewhere, talking about how awesome a time they always seem to have at Zone, and how much they look forward to future events. So I'm trying to figure out why I can't ever enjoy it.
Obviously, the music is awesome. No question. But the atmosphere there just seems so unfriendly and negative. I remember being genuinely scared there on more than one occasion. Is it all just in my head? Am I hanging out in the wrong places? Should I not be talking to people while I'm there? Apparently there's an upstairs....what's there?
Usually what ends up happening when I find myself at zone is that I have trouble getting into the dance floor - because I can't see and am afraid of the people around me. I end up sitting on the patio most of the time and smoking. Either there or in the lounge to the right of the DJ booth.
So I guess what I'm asking is for someone to please explain Comfort Zone to me. I really want to be able to enjoy it, since it is THE afterhours place in Toronto, and I live a 10-15 minute walk away from it, but I just haven't been able to up to this point.
Thanks! |
ive clubbed pretty much everywhere you possibly can in north america, i lived on south beach for 5 yrs, ive been to some shady spots LA, Vegas, nyc and even in detroit. toronto is my second favorite city to party behing miami cause your edm scene is big, good mix of everything and i love guv cause the talent and the big parties like LOL plus you have the docks too. ive only been to the zone 3 times but i gotta say its the sketchiest afterhours ive ever been too (and ive seen some shit) youve summed up my thoughts on that place. it can take your high and ruin it fast. its not for everyone and hopefully i wont be talk in to going again after SANDER i guess im gonna have to stop my feet from dancing.
