Who is Negma?
DJ Negma was born in Istanbul, Turkey. When she start to listen house music she was only 13 years old. Then for a long time she went to clubs, organized parties However Negma was little bit scared to play in the first instance. It was a dream for her but inner drive got so big that outbursted and finally she decided! She was going to give it a try! Negma started her DJing career in 2001 in Orange Club. She bought 2 turntables, a mixer and a lot of records. "My boyfriend's a DJ and he helped me a great deal and been constantly practicing'' Negma said. "He helped me to learn mixing. Music is a unique language and we have always lived with it.'' I spent countless hours locked up in my house trying to match beats. The hardest thing was training your ears to listen to two different things at the same time...it was all a big mess in my head! So that's how she started playing in small events at local venues and clubs and improved a great deal..Her music style is always happy and colourful just like herself. Positive energy is easily heard in her music. Negma's hypnotic mixes blend elements of deep soulful house with drive and energy of tracky tribal & progresive & melodic trance.
