Anyone get a chance to play with this? Searched here and elsewhere and it seems like reviews are minimal.

I have it and I'm pretty happy with it. Granted, I'm not an expert, but the sound quality is pretty good. It's a tank, definitely a solid unit.

The only real gripe I have is that you can't cue the Kaoss Pad, it has to be live. That and the decibel meters don't have any gauging, and they seem to go into the red pretty easy.

If you have any specific questions, just ask them in this thread, and I'll get back to them once I get off work.

Cool!

I was mostly concerned about sound/build quality since this is KORGs first (i think) forray into a more budget mixer. (Since it seems pretty loaded for the price)

I also wanted to know how you liked the EQ program selector. Are the different settings noticably different, or more gimmicky? Also, is there full EQ kill on all the programs, or just the ISOLATOR setting?
If you flip programs does the sound of whats already playing noticably change? (basically, is it possible to dynamically switch which EQ program you're using or is it more something you set from the start and stick with?)

[sorry for the barrage of questions.]

Thanks for the snappy response... I'm really tempted to pick one of these up in the next couple weeks.

Yeah, it's definitely built sturdy. In the words of some offscreen guy from Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigalo, "That's a huge bitch!"

Cosmetically, it's very pretty up close, too. I just wish I could get some white turntables that don't suck to match it.

The EQ's are definitely different, and they do change the sound noticibly, so dynamic changing isn't really a possibility. Two of them have full kills, the isolator is one, but I don't remember the name of the second one right now, I'll have to take a look when I get home. It's the bottom two. I find I stick with the KM-Q EQ setting most of the time, even though it doesn't have a full kill.

The only other real gripe is a very minor one, and that's that the faders are kind of wobbly, but it's just the part of the fader you touch, the fader itself is solid.

Not a problem, I know I was kind of angry no one could answer any questions for me when I was looking at buying it.

Thanks! yea, they're still pretty new from what I understand. I couldn't really even find a review on the internet save for a few youtube demos. No real in depth reviews though. Thanks again for the input! Probably be pickin mine up in a couple weeks.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with it, though, despite it's few faults. For the money, I don't think you could find a much better mixer.

Granted, I've never used any higher end ones, but as far as I'm concerned, it fits my purposes just fine.

FYI, this isn't their first mixer in that price range. This was:
