sound design for fx

lets hear how some of you guys make cool transitional and filler fx with synths...i.e. descending white noise sounds and stuff. try to give some starting points as far as settings of envelopes and the LFO's.

Let's not hear them. ;-)

In all honesty, FX are some of our trade secrets. Plus, it is great to maintain the uniqueness of many, since some are completely overused.

Try messing around with your synths and coming up with things. Please be creative and not lazy!

Theres a brainstorming thread somewhere in this forum where a bunch of us posted our own fx sounds and instructions on how to recreate them. It may be in one of the stickied threads at the top of the forum but run a search and use that thread rather than rehashing some of it in a new one.

To be honest, that thread died before its time and it could have used more contributors to keep it alive. Ahhh well.
