Geforce 9600GT

Seems like they came out of nowhere and they are all priced exactly the same, at $179. Wish I would not have bought my 8800GT a while back. Could have bought 2 of the 9600GTs for a little more and did SLI. Oh well. Anyone getting one of these?

Nah... 9800 is supposed to debut next month. I'm gonna hold out and see what that brings to the table.

I would surely wait and buy this Direct X 10 graphics card but first i have to upgrade to Vista and then think of buying this.

With the review and testing of this graphics card, it looks pretty impressive and it is priced pretty reasonable too.

check out this link for 20 page review and testing of some of the best games.

Vista is not a requirement. Upgrade the hardware first. Vista can wait.

Vista is a requirement if you want to use DX10 and take advantage of those games that use it. The only reason I used Vista x64 on my new gaming rig was so I could take advantage of DX10 games such as Bioshock, Crysis, and UT3 among others. But your are right, upgrade the hardware first, then go to Vista.
