I've always wondered why my MIDI export function with Fruityloops 3.40 doesn't work. I know this must be the cae when some of the midi channels don't work (like the MIDI in synth etc), but how can you set it up so that this function is enabled and doesn't export a 0 kb MIDI file?
Can anyone help me out? It'd be so easy to exchange music files with people that use other programs like Reason etc.
Thx in advance!

U have to create a Midi Channel , let that channel play the melody etc etc.
I canīt remember how to make the MidiOut work right now but just hit all the buttons.
And when u export to midi , u have to Export it as a Song!

thx buddy, i'll give it a shot
but yet, when i try to play those midi outs, which i've tried before, it doesn't do anything, i can't hear any sounds... but i'll give this method a shot, all be it to just export the chords without a sound involved hehe it'd just be alot easier to exchange chords...
cheers!

Hey Wim, the reason you hear nothing is because you selected no instrument to export withthe melody itself... You can still export the melody to other tracks, but if you want to heere it when you play the .mid file, you need to assign it an instruiment (You can do this in the "Plugin" section of the channel)
