Digital Disaster - History

Hey guys I just made a new song called History I like like like it so I was wondering if you guys would like to download the song that i recently made called digital disaster - history its a good song i swear its pretty cool i used fruity loops to make it buit i have a really old version but i do have sytrus because it sounds really good but i dont want to get the new shitty synths which is soooo stupid because they all sound the same and cost so much money its like why is a tiny piece of software over 100 dollars its a rip off why would anyone buy it anyway i hope you like my nwe song i really hate naming these songs because i have no idea what to name them its like why cant i just name it track 1 or track 2 etc jeez but no they make me name it anyway here is the link

Interesting little number there.

It does have a lot of issues in terms of overall balance in the mix as the lower end gets drowned out when the higher stuff creeps in.

Melodically not that challenging but the question is does it need to be? Probably not.

It's got a very dated feel to it and reminds me a lot of early techno from around 1990, stuff like Trilithon or similar.

With regards to your comments on VSTs, I would say nonsense, it's all a question of what you are able to do with them. I still find places in tracks of mine for some of the more standard FL stuff as do many other producers. Learn how to use the tools. Styrus is perhaps a little more dynamic and has a more accessable finished sound in terms of work load but that is the way with a lot of the newer synths these days.
Get to know the tools and how they work and then abuse the hell out of them.
