Im looking to buy some cheap but durable CDJ stands. I know idea what to look for or where to look for with these, so what would u guys recommend? Any suggestions would be good (preferable from stores in North America, to save me shipping costs).
Thanks
Chris

i find that this is the best way to do it because you can make it exactly to what height you want and location and everything. just makes the comfort level perfect for YOUR situation. a lot of time you probably wount get so lucky with buying the stands, but they might look better than the home made ones (depending on how good you are with building things)

I made mine with pipe fittings. A flange piece on the desk, screwed into a 10" nipple (short length of pipe), a 45 degree elbow, then another 3" nipple and another flange screwed into a piece of plywood cut the size of a CDJ. I then put a small piece of wood on the bottom of the plywood piece to keep the CDJ's from sliding.
Painted the whole thing black, and I used some of that non-slip rubber mat stuff you used in drawers and stuff cut to the size of the cdj, really keeps it firmly in place.
