Sander Van Doorn's recent style

So I've been following along with SVD's Identity mixes from 2006 and early 2007 and the style was pretty impressive in the harder and techier side of trance, but I have to say his recent mixes (and album for that matter) just don't live up to his older stuff. Does anyone else feel the same way or am I just not keeping up with the newest styles?

I dont know why. it seems like he went camping one day and was fascinated by little grasshoppers, picking apples from a tree, jerking off to vida guererra pictures in his tent and loving some nice oriental sushis. he deserved a big fat L for all that.

Yeh but then a big Dozer came and destroyed it all.

It really bums me out that he is done making tunes under his Purple Haze alias. Some of his best tracks came out under that name.

I actually liked his Sam Sharp side more.

In Deep & Error are still tunes!

Feeling the same way. Sander's older style was totally rocking. Hard and techy, trance at it's best. But his more recent stuff has been very minimal, seems to like a low subtle tone bass with little use of high's.
