Anyone loading this? I'm not gonna touch it till its a final release. I got the email from Access today, but I see it was posted on 4/27.

I suggest taking a look at the long list of nightmare stories over on the Unofficial Virus Forum then decide whether or not you want to risk being a guinea pig. My TI works perfectly as is, so I'm waiting until the official O/S release, and even then I'm not going to rush it.

I've done without the third output and Atomizer this long, what's a few more weeks?

I had already finished a few tracks so I had some extra downtime to update the OS yesterday morning. The update ran fine on my PC and I was able to finish a brand new song last night utilizing the 3rd stereo output. This was a feature I've been drooling over since I heard about it at NAMM. It seems pretty stable. Most of the "horror stories" (at least, that I've heard) were from the first public beta. At least it's easy to roll back to 2.5.1 if 2.7 isn't working out. I definitely recommend this if you can afford to "test" this release and aren't in the middle of any important projects. Finish up any projects you have before updating just to be safe.

I know this is the 3rd beta version and so should be much more stable than the earlier two but I'll still wait until the official release. I don't have any major issues at the moment so I don't mind waiting. Really looking forward to having the 3rd usb output though..

I used the 2nd beta and it was full of bugs. The VSTi interface wasn't redrawing properly, the delay was all messed up, it would constantly go out of sync... I couldn't believe they would release that.

On 2.5 myself and everything is fine so I'll wait until the final release. The 3rd output is cool but can anyone give a brief rundown of what Atomizer is?

Cool vid (s), but doesn't really explain what it is. Is it an effect, and I must run audio through the TI to 'atomize' it?

Yeah - it's a real-time audio mangler that slices/dices audio signals that you run into the Virus' inputs. I haven't actually seen/heard it firsthand, so maybe someone here can provide a better description.
