So this set basically consists of two kinds of tunes: ones I've been playing the piss out of myself and absolutely adore, and others I've either seen around, or gave a passing listen to, but really wasn't particularly familiar with or didn't care for. I did think it was pretty odd to see "Darkslide" placed so early (I've used it as kind of a chuggy way to keep energy up but switch to a less boring kick), and to be honest, I'd have probably just preferred it without the Tejada tune at the beginning because I didn't really feel the transition into "Darkslide" - after that it was all gravy though.
I wasn't much of a fun of either "Billy Says Go" or "Jamaica" prior to this, but they worked well - and surprisingly so together. "Zone" has actually been one of my favorites this past 6 months or so, but to be honest I think every time I've mixed it has wound up in some weirdness happening that I wasn't too thrilled with. You really made it work coming out of "Jamaica" - very impressive, Adam.
"Radio Graceland" through "White Elephant" definitely stayed kind of on an even keel the whole time, but it flowed well enough that it kept me interested (even in tunes I hadn't particularly cared for before), but ending with that Eulberg remix of Hot Chip was nothing but class. Absolutely love everything about that track - playing it, hearing it, anything.
All in all you did a good job on this one Mr. Falony. Will definitely keep it around a bit.

Thanks. Yeah, I don't usually go for such energetic openers, but since I always do some long, inane, circle-jerk openers I was getting kinda bored (and recording on a whim) so therefor I chose something a bit different. And failed. Oh did I ever fail.
