This is prog-but-99.9%-sidechain-trance with a touch of sidechain. I love the sidechain, don't get me wrong in the slightest.
However, if I could give this track a color, it would be silver and white. There's so much sheering, blinding treble in the mix that the bassline really sticks out well even though it is not very well defined. Okay, that's a bad hyperbole, but the sidechain maximization made the treble feel like bubbles rising up and down; up and down in the shell of my cranium bouncing like a sharp carbon-fizz overload.
Searingly jumping a razor's edge... but the track ended up sounding pretty 'hip' at the same time.

thanks for the comment/clarification. I do try to make something different hearing the pretty generic songs usually on the radio etc. I'm not good when it comes to giving genres so i thank you for this explanation.
Also love the sidechain. I'm kind of obsessed with it actually.. I just try not to use it too much..
