xone 2d is a bad investment
just buy an external soundcard and a midi controller like the uc-33
and plus the uc-33 has a lot more knobs/faders for you to assign midi to

i have one. For the price of it alongside a crappy Hercules DJ controller, i'd pick the total control over it any day. I could care less about the soundcard in the hercules module.
but as for the total control, every parameter is assignable. I have it running alongside my E-Mu Xboard49 usb midi keyboard in traktor and i could basically do what i want to do with it.
although for the price their sound quality is high, it's just the build quality that licks balls

me personally wouldn't spend my money on nothing newmark, but the idea of a soundcard and the uc-33 sounds good

I just can't get my head around the fact that people are taking the piss on numark.. Like Behringer never existed. Iv owned 2 numark mixers and the DJX700 .. And the only good thing about that mixer was the day it broke during a party and i got refunded for the damages to my equipment during the party and picked up a nice little Pioneer DJM

So you've never owned a mixer other than a Numark or Behringer (besides the DJM)?
Once you try a Vestax, Rane or Allen & Heath, you will realise what complete cheap toys the aforementioned are in comparison.
Also, a lot of people like Pioneer mixers, but I find them completely gash. I'm not sure how the DJM 600 ever made it's way into so many clubs. Besides the faders coming loose and bleeding like shit, the sound quality is also mediocre to say the least.
The 800 and the 1000 are ok, but everything else is yuck.

Why can't you guys just swallow your stupid pride? Not everything that isn't Pioneer and A&H is complete garbage. Get over yourselves! It's like half of you are employed by one of these two industry leaders to go and spread garbage about all their competitors.
