Is it weird if i record a set and its not 60 minutes?

Maybe its a stupid question to ask.

haha no, Just wondering if its weird to record a mix and put it out if its only 50 or 45 minutes long.

Well, depends on what you're doing, personally I prefer longer mixes unless you're doing quick mixing between lots of tracks (say 2 minutes per track), but I've seen people do similar things. A couple months ago there was here some sort of tribute mix competition where people would do 30 minutes mixes.

The only rule of pushing the boundaries of music is that there's no rules.

Not weird at all. There are plenty of dj mixes/demos that clock in at under an hour.

I'm with Noikee, however, and I like doing the longer mixes.
