Is there a way to get around this?

Viewing a website, then a 'this site is brought to you by...' ad pops up, and you have to wait a few secs to click the 'skip this ad' link to view the original page once again.

I use Firefox BTW.

The ad blocker works nicely--thank you.

Also, for anybody who is interested in learning how to disable Windows' annoying auto-play feature when a CD/DVD is inserted into the drive go here--> http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article03-018

I mention it simply because I just disabled that feature.
