Hi, ive been working my ass on this track for the last week or so, and i just cant figure out what is wrong with the mix, and especially the transition 00:45

I was hoping someone could spot the faulty link in the track.

(and yes the melody is prolly boring that im aware of)

i think it sounds good. firstly i think the bassline needs a second layer and thats ONLY for the attack transient. the bassline is round & warm but so is the kick, have something with a bit of bite at the beginning and let the round one carry it thru.

i also think the bitcrush/flanger whatever pad in the background has too many high freqs. shelf that thing somewhere and you'll notice the rest of your elements breathe better(i'm guessing)

I would say, right at 45 secs, when the double kick hits, I would try some kinda mini fill, I kinda hear one but, its real quite. I think the pad doesn't sound bad by the way, especially in the begining, maybe automate the highs so they go lower when the rest of the parts come in. But, other than that it sounds real nice, I wanna hear more!

Actually, I hear the snare after the double kick, but, it needs some kind of other fill, like a breakbeat fill or something. Not drastic, but, just a little more involved than that little snare.
