So I was on the phone with a friend last night on my way home from work (roughly 5:30p-5:45p MST) when she started freaking out saying there was a meteor coming down from the sky. Then she went "WHOA!!" and exclaimed the entire sky had lit up around her.
Obviously I was a bit skeptical, but sure enough, the following video was caught from a Peace Officer's onboard dash camera.
Pretty cool stuff! Apparently it was seen all the way from Edmonton to Northern Saskatchewan and even Manitoba.
dude i shit you not i saw the same thing in cabos last year and it was the most amazing thing I ever saw with my own eyes.
my gf and I were sitting at like 3 am drinking on a lawn chair looking out on the ocean and i was bullshitting and being all philsophical about how small we are in this universe. and kaboom a fuckin meteor comes out of the sky and crashes through the clouds and burns up into the water. It was amazing
