Well everyone's myspace link is posted except for Catoptric, so that would be the first place I would look for information. Since you haven't done that I will give you a synopsis of the acts booked for this party.
Dylalien.....as noted above, Dylan, is one half of the Fractal Cowboys. Originally from Austin Texas but have since moved on to SF. Quasar and Dylalien together make some of the most twisted and insane music coming out of the US psychedelic trance scene. Their quirkiness will leaving you continually questioning which end is up. You never know what you are going to get from their music, except you can always guarantee that it will be deep, driving, dark & twisted. They have released numerous tracks on some of the world's best psychedelic trance labels. It is always a treat for us to have Dylan back home.
Catoptric.....this person is Pete of Fugutrance, a now dismantled psychedelic trance crew based out of Austin. He is a well balanced dj who has complete control behind the decks. He combines a perfect balance of dark music as well as melodic textures. Truly a talented dj with a keen sense of flow.
Melvin.....he is a newcomer to the Texas psychedelic trance scene as far as djing is concerned. No affiliations at this point, but as he grows as a dj I see that changing. He represents a wide arrange of music from melodic, progressive psychedelic rance, to bangin full-on.
Aeon.....Sean is a longtime Texas native who was one of the original people to play goa trance in Texas back in the early nineties. He was one of the minds behind the full moon gatherings that were popular in the nineties in the North Dallas area. He was also a dj for Universal Mind Productions. That crew in the early 2000s threw some very large psychedelic trance parties. They were also responsible for the trance areas at all three of the "Massivs" thrown by D1 productions many years ago. He now plays full-on and nightime psy.
Dub till Dawn......Dawn is the partner in life of Aeon. She is a deco artist as well as a new dj who specilizes in psychedelic dub.
Vampyromorpha.......Jeff is one of the original people behind Shiva Shakti, a psychedelic trance crew from Austin. This crew has been responsible for throwing numerous underground parties for many years now. He represents the darker side of psychedelic trance. Music that will make you question what reality is, and how someone could possibly make sounds like that.
Uhm.......Brian has been a long time dj in the Dallas scene, 9 years running now. He has been a part of Collective Harmonics, Universal Mind Productions, Mistical Productions, and is now one of the people behind the Atrium Obscurum events that are thrown in Dallas as well as Austin. Recently he has realized that in previous lifes he was not only a Mayan warrior, but also Abraham Lincoln. The twisted/dark style of psychedelic trance that he plays will emancipate you from your dark knight of the soul if you will relinquish yourself to the music.
This may/may not have helped answer your question. Most all of these artists have been in their respective scenes for many years. If you aren't familiar with psychedelic trance, or the Texas scene, then you probably haven't heard of any of these people. Uhm & Aeon have both played their psychedelic trance at many non-psy parties in the Dallas area.
So my question to you Dirk.....exactly how long have you been a part of the Texas scene?
