Hi All!
My name is Vince and I'm from Holland. I normally produce hardstyle but I wanted to try something different. So now I present you a preview of a trance track Im working on:

I myself think it sounds pretty decent, but its you to judge :P Im not very familiar with trance producing, so feel free to give me some serious opinions

I think you brought in the open hat too soon, listen to some other trance productions to understand the sequences. It also seems like you've retained some of the hardstyle elements. The melodic components and synths in general need to be more pronounced. This is extremely simple sounding stuff. I suppose this is trance, but without harmonic diversity this is simply not trance.

Listen to some Signum, Airbase, Danjo & Styles or Above & Beyond to compare against.

Sorry man but it seems like you still have a long way to go before you're producing quality trance.

In all fairness, it's a decent attempt.

Yeah man it doesn't give me a headache or an earache, it's just vague. What would be helpful is A and B comparison with the aforementioned artists. Thanks for sharing and don't hesitate to come back with any of your other productions.
