Stu Cox - Creaky Bacon [130bpm driving techy stuff]
Hey kids,
Many of you will know me from being a mouthy f*cker in the DJ Booth for several years, but this is actually the first tune I've posted in here - thought I'd see what you lot think of it.
I'm shit with genre classifications, but it's about 130bpm, quite techy, fairly driving, a little bit trancey and kinda electroey.
Processing a highly structured and complex pattern of sensory input as a unified percept of "music" is probably one of the most elaborate features of the human brain.....understanding how music is perceived and how it may elicit intense sensations is far from being understood.

Great production value. Everything sits well in the mix. Lots going on but it doesn't sound too cluttered.
I also dig the pitch bend on the bassline.
Well done, Stu.

That's really cool actually.
Not sure about how that high sounds comes in at about 1:40, it has a place in the track later for sure, I would be tempted to drop it at 2:13 instead, just seems more natural and I can't tell you why, just the way it seems.
The sound you drop at 3:50 adds a nice twisted feel to the track. (very DX7 Duran Duran though he he). Yup, I know... too much Christmas spirit.
That's a really well put together track and I would play it.
As in you want to do one? Feel free - although I don't know if/when I'd get the chance to make up a remix pack. What sort of style would you do?

Cheers dude, I think the high bleeps kinda need to be there for the bass stabs that come in at the end of phrases around the same point, but I agree that it would be better if it came in a bit more smoothly... somehow.
