Wondering if any TA's have issues with LG burners. I have the LG GH22NP20. came out last july. when i burn dual layer dvds it gives me and i/o error. errors regarding sectors too i beleive. they are Memorex brand. I can sometimes burn 1 or 2 out of a 15 pack. they rest fail. when i burn standard single layer no issues.

I have never ever had an issue with any Memorex discs, single or dual layer, and they're actually all I've ever used for dual layer discs.
Pioneer DVD drives are so great.

This, a thousand times this. You've gotta order them usually, unless somewhere like CC carries them.

I've never had any issues burning anything. I usually use Memorex/Verbatim.
I usually use Verbatim DL for my 360 games and haven't had any issues at all.
There could be an issue with you're burner.

I dont know. when i burn regular dvd +/- R i have no issues. I usually use Verbatim, maxell, Phillips, and Sony. I can burn them all at 16x. but if i burn a standard memorex dvd r at 16x it skips. so i usually burn it at 8x. I haven't tried Verbatim dual layers, so thats my next option, if they fuck up. then it means a new burner for me.
