Psychedelic grooves: The Distressor

Just installed my brand new distressors matched pair today. To say that they sound phat is an understatement

Mixed in Cubase 5 using the following gear / plugins

TC electronic Powercore (TAP Factory)
SSL Duende (X-Comp & X-EQ)
Barricade Pro Limiter

Steinberg MR816x
MOOG voyager
Access Virus
JOMOX XBASE-999
Elektron Machinedrum SPS-1UW
Empirical Labs EL-8X Distressors matched pair

Is there any way to make a bypass version so that one could hear the difference?

Just initially, I hear a bit more clarity and sonic spacing on the high-end and more over-all crispness in the mix. Will give the two a listen, later, this weekend. I've been very curious about distressors and really appreciate that you posted this.
