yes JF told me that the guy who used to do maintenance on the stereo sound system is at Karma all the time to work on it. I was there last Saturday for Angel Moraes and I thought it improved a lot since the opening.

Just got back....posting here really shouldn't be a priority right now lol. Left at around 2:40 as I was getting tired. Matt put on a really good set IMO, very hypnotic at times. I was actually smoking a cigg outside when he arrived in his cab and I was like "Hey Matt, what's up" and he was like "oh hey, what's up?" while having the biggest WTF look on his face. It was quite funny.
Passcal I think you mistook me for some guy named Frank or something. Thought that was pretty funny too.

oh shit that was you lol! yeah my bad. You really look like another guy who called me for a glist.
This was a pretty fun night, turn out was very satisfying. Lots of people were curious to hear Matt play I rekon. Had the chance to chat with him, very cool guy, super laid back. He got there around midnight and at 12:30 Bender asked him if he wanted to play and he accepted so we got a 3-hour set! very cool!
He played a very interesting set! Very ''European'', not a typical techno set, lots of housier tracks and some very deep deep stuff that put the dancefloor to sleep a few times lol.
I also asked him what happened at Mutek last year and why he didn’t make it to piknic the next day. The reason is simple, he didn’t have his CDs (either lost them at aiport or they got held at customs) and the laptop he had with him was brand new so he had very little music on it…so he played anyway but he felt really bad about the whole thing… obviously you can’t play a good set if you don’t have the majority of your tracks!
