Dunno CDJ difference?

Hey folks,

Right so ive cdj's mk1's and ive been mixing on them for a good while now, im trying to get a gig somewhere so if i do and i end up in a club where the set up is cdjs 800s or ect, is there a big difference?

Im too used to the mk1000s so if im presented with different decks i dont want to be fazed. I do only mix through, cue/play and tempo adjusting, eg the basics, so i cant see why there would be a difference?

I just want to be more that ready

If you're playing on 1000's you'll be fine. Don't worry about it.

Cdj 800's and 1000 are very similar and changing between the two wont cause you any hassles.

800's play MP3's...the 1000's have .02 pitch increments (when switched over) and only the Mk3's play MP3's.

If you put your CDJ1000s to +/-10% on the pitch that kicks them into .05 resolution which is the same as a CDJ800.

Press the tempo button on the right hand side of the CDJ1000 until you are in +/- 10% mode.

It is right under the vinyl/CDJ mode button and right above the master tempo button.

6% has .02 resolution which is the best for some
10% has .05 resolution which I honestly prefer

never used the other two modes

if you practice using 10% that is the same as a CDJ800
