I'd guess testing this 'cure' in the US would accelerate it's FDA approval and enable quicker distribution; if the results are indeed flawless; there are other factors one should take in consideration:
1. side effects (long term and short term)
2. cost per vaccine (durability too)
alot of answers are left in the dark, the initiative is outstanding though, good stuff, Canada.
