Sorry man. Had a listen to your mix, but forgot to reply...
First impression is: definately needs work on creating build-ups. This is not meant to sound harsh or something, but if I listen to this mix I think that you selected some nice tunes (and you did that, that's definately true ), but then random mixed them together... The tracks hardly have a connection with each other and don't most of them don't make a nice flow together..
For example the start. You start with a dark and moody tune, but then you continue with a more 'happy' tune as freefalling and then you continue with the dark 'Bliksem'. And also tune #4 is major, while #5 is minor again.
If we talk about build-up. For example the tunes 8-13. They all sound as upbeat trance with lil' differences.. Say that 'Monsum' and 'For The Most Part' do stand out a bit, but it's all 'just uplifting trance', which means it has to special meaning while being mixed together.
If I'd take some of the tracks of your mix and we'd start with 'Symfo', then I'd let that follow by a tune with a bit more energy. Let's pick 'Auxiliary (Part 2)' then. After that we can continue with 'Bliksem' for even more energy. Now we can maybe slow it a bit down and pick 'Beautiful (Sunny Lax remix)'.
I'd say tryout the suggestion I gave you, and try to compare it to the set that you mixed together. I hope you can hear (or even better: feel) what I mean. Also, try practising with beatmatching. Practise makes perfect!
Hope this helps.
