Looks like I'll be heading down there to Lima for a couple of weeks on business, and I'll have plenty of free time. Never been to South America... am I wrong to feel uneasy about going? If anyone has been there, hook a brother up with some good info please

you mean for work? I have to inspect a few commercial buildings for contamination. aside from that, I'm wondering if venturing out at night is a good idea.

I just spoke to him, it sounds like he had a great time. Here are his own words:

peru was awesome, i spent most of my time hiking, but spent one night and one whole day in lima
42:22
there are some awesome electronics black markets
42:30
some pretty cool parks
42:41
and the bars/clubs in an area called miraflores are good

So there you go. Sounds fun!
