The Steinberg key that came with your copy of Cubase when you bought it. Check your USB slots on your computer!

the police told me to stop waving my dongle around said was upsetting the neighbours
Processing a highly structured and complex pattern of sensory input as a unified percept of "music" is probably one of the most elaborate features of the human brain.....understanding how music is perceived and how it may elicit intense sensations is far from being understood.

What happened here is when you installed Nexus 2, it replaced the hacked Syncrosoft emulator software from H20 that runs SX3 so now when you go to run Cubase 3, the emulator for the dongle is gone having been replaced by the real thing from Nexus 2. Its asking for your Cubase SX3 license key which does not exist. I don't think there is a way around this since both SX3 and Nexus 2 use the same Syncrosoft dongle technology.
