Best site for Progressive House?

Hey guys I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to find a website that is best for carrying melodic, progressive house. I tried beatport and audiojelly but, i mostly find techy-minimal stuff on there. and if i do find anything i like it's after spending hours going through page after page. Also beatport seems to get some releases like a month after.

The style I am searching for is the more melodic side of progressive house, but also the elctro/progressive style like the spencer and hill remix listed below. I hope that's enough info, it's greatly appreciated. thanks

Also the style from the Anjunadeep label
I'm looking through Track It Down/ Porgressive House right now and it seems to be pretty good so far, but still wondering if there's anything better.

thanks but i'm looking for websites not individual songs.

anyway i finished going through track it down yesterday and they still put all this other techy, minimal stuff in with the progressive. melodic prog house should have a section of it's own. i always have to dig for hours to find anything good. and in the end i never find much. unlike with trance i always find lots. anyway....

I have to say I experience exactly the same thing - I totally hate this minimal nonsense that seems to get passed off as prog these days. Give me something that stirs my emotions without being too cheesy and I'm happy.

I do find that meandering my way through Last.FM has really given me some great new tracks. If you've not tried it then I recommend you do so.

Yeah I hear ya man. I play a lot of this style. I actually mostly use Beatport. You just have to find a track you like, and then explore other tracks by the artists and, most importantly, the label itself, which will lead you to other artists and other labels. It's time consuming for sure though.

Edit: It would be nice if these sites better classified their tracks though I agree.

Yeah beatport is a bitch to use. There's 4 pages of progressive everyday to go through. I went through 40 pages the other day and really didn't find a lot. I have been playing trance for years now so I know what labels and artists to look for. I guess i just need to put in my work and learn who's who in the progressive scene. But yeah there really should be better sub categories on beatport, they do it with the trance section already.

Anyway thanks for the help I guess I'll just keep diggin' away

Btw, you might like the mix I made forever-ago in my sig. Kinda deeper but there's a few tracks you might like.

Reminds me I need to upload a new one already.

Also, I looked back in the archives and here's some links to some of my older prog. house mixes. Check out some of these artists if you haven't already.

can't get away form that minmal crap at most places. I find most of my stuff by following the links. eg find a track I like, check out other stuff by that artist or remixer, check the "people who bought this also bought" links etc.
also check tracklists of artists you do like. i find that more productive that scouring hundreds of new releases for 1 or two decent tracks

I have been keeping an eye out for artist/labels but i only want new tracks. if it hasn't come out within a month someone else has probably played the shit out of it. so besides me just paying to enjoy listening to it , there isn't really much else of a point...

the thing i love about trance is i know how to keep up to date so when i record a mix and post it, i'm playing tracks that just came out that week or even that day. being on top of your game like that i think speaks volumes...

But still I appreciate the advice. I'll just keep hammering through the prog sections. even though it is so far and few between. I'm sencing a real need for melodic uplifting progressive. I guess I will have to hustle to get my productions out

you'd be surprised how much good stuff seems to have slipped between the cracks, but if you really want stuff no-one else has and is released in the last week, producing your own would fit that bill perfectly

Since you are looking for a website, this appears to be the best one to know what is coming out in the coming weeks, however you still need an idea about the labels and artists, because you will find every type of progressive house here: http://mypromopool.com/.
