No, because had you actually been paying attention for the past couple of months you would have seen that IK did this before and it was a massive success. In fact, a large majority of us on this very forum picked up half the T-RackS library through their previous deal.

What's so underhanded? They make some big sales and we all save a heap of money. That's a win/win situation.

A payback will already occur - those 2700+ that have registered the new products will receive two additional products for free (that's 3 for the price of one). If/when another <800 people register, then every participant will recieve a third free product (4 for the price of 1). The IK stuff is pretty popular and, given the fact that the deadline is still months away, it's a pretty sure bet that they will reach 3500 participants. It's a great deal, but unfortunately I'm not interested in it - I already have enough guitar/bass amp simulations. I sorta doubt that this is going to appeal to very many EDM producers.
